If you’ve ever visited the Aileron Campus, you’ll quickly notice our love for capturing thoughts, ideas, and processes visually. Our walls are lined with dry erase boards, and our team regularly uses flip charts to display information. We believe in the power of making ideas visible, whether it’s through whiteboard sessions, process mapping, or collaborating with a thought partner. Visibility into the work helps organize ideas, gain alignment, and achieve desired outcomes faster.
Visual Tools that Drive Progress
Visual tools, such as process maps and the Business Model Canvas, can provide clarity and structure to complex ideas. Often, business leaders have knowledge trapped in their heads but struggle to organize it. By visualizing these ideas, they create space for clearer thinking, better decision making, and more intentional actions.
Living it: How Our Community is Creating Visibility in Their Work
The KBD Management Team identified a communication gap in their workflow with clients. By working with an Aileron Business Coach, they discovered the root cause of the issue and developed a visual model of their client roadmap. Now they share this roadmap with clients to help them better understand where they are on their journeys.
“We recognized gaps in the flow of information we provide to our clients. We used the process model to explore and identify the gaps and developed an info-graphic to improve communication. Our clients have shown they appreciate the visual of how their project is moving through the stages of completion.”
