Aileron is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to maintain Aileron’s Campus (building and grounds) to contribute to a beautiful, well-maintained, and safe environment where our community and team can find focus and do their best work.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day Campus operations and support: You’ll be part of the team that’s critical to the daily functions of our Campus and will respond to facility-related requests from our team and clients throughout the day. You’ll perform daily visual inspections of Campus, promptly addressing minor cosmetic issues and repairs in the building and along our driveway and walkways (removing debris, clearing cobwebs, cleaning dirty windows, replacing lightbulbs, light landscaping), carry out federal flag orders, and ensure our community can enjoy Campus’s beautiful environment without disruption. You’ll also provide second-shift coverage as needed.
  • Campus maintenance: You’ll maintain our master preventative maintenance calendar for our grounds and equipment, performing activities yourself or coordinating activities with specialized vendors to upkeep our water, pond, septic, and fire systems and utility vehicles. You’ll document, organize, and maintain records of all maintenance activities. You’ll also oversee our recycling program and waste reduction efforts.
  • Seasonal maintenance: You’ll have a variety of ongoing seasonal maintenance activities, including bush hogging specified areas of the grounds, staging outdoor furniture, maintaining Aileron’s boat, splitting and distributing firewood, coordinating chimney sweeps, plowing and salting our sidewalks and driveway, and preparing the facility for winter.
  • Facilities inventory: You’ll maintain the cleanliness and organization of our maintenance building and oversee our inventory of PPE, lightbulbs, testing supplies, septic additives, etc. and make purchases as needed.
  • Campus safety and risk management: You’ll serve as a member of our Emergency Action Team and be a first responder for medical and non-medical emergencies. You’ll ensure the building’s alarm and monitoring systems are operational, perform routine maintenance, and respond to after-hours alarms and access breaches.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required; Associate degree is a plus
  • Two years of related experience (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating tractors and attachments, utility terrain vehicles, and boats
  • Working knowledge of mechanical processes and equipment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work at Aileron’s Campus in Tipp City, Ohio 5 days per week
  • Physical requirements: This position involves exposure to the elements and standing, sitting, extensive indoor and outdoor walking, climbing, kneeling, balancing, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 25-80 pounds.

Aileron is looking for a Director of Community & Market Engagement to grow our mindshare and market share with our target customers throughout the customer journey — from attracting new customers to earning commitments through sales. They are responsible for creating, leading, and implementing a multifaceted and integrated communications and outreach strategy targeted to business owners and their teams, partners, external audiences, volunteers, donors, and constituents to build Aileron’s visibility and impact and fuel engagement.

This role will lead and actively contribute to the work of executing the community, marketing, and sales systems through relationship, education, and content marketing. The Director will lead a team of professionals responsible for communications, public relations, marketing, publications, partner relations, and social media.

They will be a member of Aileron’s leadership team and help guide the organization’s direction and strategy with a focus on growth strategies, brand acceleration, and collaborative projects across departments in support of the organization and its mission.

Role and Responsibilities

Marketing Leadership

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution: You’ll develop and implement marketing strategies to build brand awareness, generate leads, and drive business growth across the country.
  • Campaign Management: You’ll plan and execute cross-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, events) to promote Aileron’s services, monitoring campaign performance and adjusting to optimize our results.
  • Content and Brand Management: You’ll oversee the creation of learning-oriented marketing content (case studies, whitepapers, blogs, and social media updates) that aims to build relationships with our target audience and actively develop them. You’ll ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Market Research: You’ll conduct and oversee market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, using those insights to refine our marketing strategies.

Sales Leadership

  • Sales Strategy and Execution: You’ll develop and implement sales strategies to reach business owners and their teams and identify goals and performance metrics.
  • Lead Generation: You’ll create and manage lead generation programs to attract potential clients using inbound and outbound sales techniques to convert leads into customers.
  • Sales Forecasting: You’ll analyze sales data and market trends to forecast sales and revenue, adjusting strategies as needed to meet our targets and drive growth.

Community & Partner Relations

  • Community: You’ll build and grow events, programs, and practices that nurture a strong community of professional management champions.
  • Partner Relations: You’ll lead the structure and processes the team uses to establish strong and effective partnerships.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You’ll work closely with other departments (customer service, product development, client development, and finance) to ensure alignment of and support for marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Budget Management: You’ll develop and manage the marketing and sales budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Performance Reporting: You’ll track and report on the performance of marketing and sales activities, using data to assess effectiveness and make informed decisions for continuous improvement.
  • People Management and Development: You’ll lead full-time team members and long-term freelance partners who will contribute to bringing your strategies to life.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing and sales roles with 5+ years in a leadership position
  • Experience using community, marketing, and sales to scale a business at a national level
  • Experience with education/relationship marketing is a plus
  • Exposure to or experience in a small business is highly desired
  • Exposure to or experience with small businesses and entrepreneurs is a plus
  • Strong leadership and people development skills; conscious leadership is a plus
  • Ability to work at Aileron’s Campus in Tipp City, Ohio 2-3 days per week
