Aileron is growing its Client Engagement team and is seeking a process-driven, collaborative, and self-starting Client Engagement Coordinator to be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging client experiences to our community of business leaders and teams.

Who You Are

  • You’re highly organized and detail-oriented; things don’t fall through the cracks on your watch.
  • You’re self-motivated, and you solve problems without being asked to; you solve problems as you encounter them.
  • You’re naturally curious, and you’re always on the lookout for new opportunities to learn.
  • You value independence and interdependence, you are comfortable working alone but also thrive as a member of a high-performing, collaborative team..

Your Client Services Values

  • You see the client experience as critical to business success. You know every interaction—onboarding, phone calls, emails, events, and more—comes together to create a holistic experience that should be intentionally crafted and delivered as part of a larger plan. You understand the strategic nature of your role and see it as an opportunity to drive business growth.
  • You believe processes should be both consistent and customized. You take a systems approach to client services and believe they should be replicable to create a certain level of predictability. You believe in balancing that uniformity with a unique, tailored experience that shows each client how special they are and serves their individual needs and goals.
  • You get joy from bringing clients joy. You view every interaction as an opportunity to grow the relationship and take pleasure in injecting unexpected moments of awe into the client experience.
  • You believe in continuous process improvement. You embrace and drive change. You believe the client experience is a living, breathing process that should be continually refined and improved over time. You experience change as transformation and opportunity, and you adapt quickly.
  • You’re humble and see clients as the star of the show. You know the entire organization is here to serve our clients – both internal and external – and you keep them at the forefront when making decisions while also balancing Aileron’s goals and needs. You feel like your day is a success if our clients have positive, empowering experiences with the team; your greatest success is when clients can’t help but rave about their Aileron experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  1. External Account Management: You’ll initiate the client set-up process, coordinate service and meeting scheduling, and provide account support with Aileron’s clients as they start and navigate their professional management journey.
  2. Internal Account Support: You’ll oversee the internal management of clients by coordinating logistics, preparing for scheduled services, and supporting the internal team with activities like sales, forecasting, and monitoring the performance and progress of client engagements.
  3. Client Advocate and Liaison: You’ll develop long-term relationships with clients by serving as an internal advocate and liaison, connecting them to resources and sharing information with Business Advisors, Facilitators, Accounting, and other Aileron teams.
  4. Client Support Process Champion: You’ll own and execute several processes within the overall client engagement experience, including plan set-up and scheduling. You’ll also work within the sales, quoting, and customer service systems to deliver exceptional care to our clients. Along the way, you’ll spot and take advantage of opportunities to improve these processes to make them more efficient, effective, and engaging.
  5. Client Problem Solver: You’ll use your autonomy to find solutions to client problems, and you’ll proactively solve potential problems as you keenly spot risks and areas for improvement in the client engagement process.

Aileron is seeking a project manager-business analyst-tech visionary hybrid to connect and manage our digital infrastructure and create a frictionless digital experience for our team and members

Who You Are

  • You love the big picture and the small details; you easily flow between high-level strategic visions and details-oriented minutiae.
  • You are extremely organized and know how to prioritize what is urgent while staying mindful of what is important.
  • You love the entire project management process and understand the importance of every step, from planning and documentation through execution and impact.
  • You love making connections and have a knack for drawing links between seemingly disparate ideas to tell a bigger story.

Your Digital Experience Values

  • You experience technology as a business solution: You believe technical solutions should support higher-level business strategies and you enjoy translating business needs into digital solutions.
  • You’re a committed life-long learner: You see the world of technology as a constant evolution and enjoy staying up to date on trends to apply them in the business.
  • You’re a data nerd: You see analytics as critical to understanding the business and its members. You geek out over collecting data, analyzing insights, and reporting findings to inform your approach.
  • You meet people where they are: You have technical prowess, but you know not everyone does. You see value in translating techy language into layman’s terms to effectively train teams and onboard members to digital systems.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  1. Digital systems designer: You’ll architect and manage Aileron’s digital infrastructure, keeping scalability in mind. You’ll translate requirements from multiple stakeholders across the organization into solutions that support a larger digital ecosystem.
  2. Technical project manager: You’ll manage projects from start to finish, writing requirements documentation, managing resources, creating onboarding and training processes, launching and implementing solutions, and monitoring them ongoing to continuously improve our user experience.
  3. Partner relationship champion: While this role isn’t a design or development role (though you could put those skills to use if you have them), you will collaborate with and manage Aileron’s design, development, and IT partners, so knowledge of these fields is beneficial.

Your Team

  • Your team lead: Chuck Huggins, Aileron’s Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for pushing the organization’s products and business model forward through concepting, testing, and implementing new solutions. Chuck is hyper-focused on Aileron’s future and will support this role as a forward-facing creative thought partner.
  • Your team: This position bridges multiple teams. You’ll support the entire organization, translating the needs of Client Engagement, Learning Engagement, and Market Engagement – and, most importantly, our members – into a seamless internal and external digital experience.

Ideal Candidate

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, digital strategy, product ownership, e-commerce, business systems analysis, or other related fields
  • Experience managing and deploying organization-wide digital or technology projects
  • Experience leading and making decisions in a highly collaborative, matrixed organization
  • Ability to work on the Eastern Time Zone and periodically travel to Aileron’s campus for face-to-face meetings

Aileron is always developing a pipeline of senior-level Facilitators to join our team of contributors who build meaningful, lasting relationships with our clients.

Who You Are

An Aileron facilitator isn’t someone who talks at a crowd. This role is designed for someone who can deliver content interactively, ask empowering questions, and facilitate conversation that compels all participants to share their experiences and insights. Here are some additional qualities of a great candidate.

  • You’re situational; you meet people where they are, can easily act on your feet, and have a natural ability to read a room and react accordingly to adjust the energy level.
  • You’re confident and comfortable with vulnerability, and express that value as you share personal stories about your own life to relate to your audience and make connections between course content and real-world context.
  • You’re a storyteller, and believe people learn better through shared experiences.
  • You’re good at navigating many behavior types in a single room, and can gracefully adjust to ensure all participants have a rewarding experience.
  • You’re driven by helping others be their best selves; nurturing relationships comes naturally to you, and you’re quick to foster connections, practice empathy, and collaborate.
  • You want to contribute to a “we” organization that values organizational systems over individual standards, and you value community, inclusion, and teamwork.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  1. Deliver course content: You’ll become a master at sharing content as you become intimately acquainted with your workshop and use your personal and professional experience to bring it to life. You’ll use visual aids as just that – aids. You won’t rely on course material to guide your process or tell the entire story.
  2. Grow and develop as a facilitator: You’ll continue to evolve your style as you gain experience and learn from your peers and client feedback. As your interests and Aileron’s needs evolve, you may also expand into other disciplines, programs, and services.
  3. Keep energy high and people engaged: You’ll be an energy barometer, keeping tabs on the room and moving around, sharing stories, and interacting with participants to keep the session lively and dynamic.
  4. Weave coaching into your process: You’ll let the workshop content serve as a guide, but you won’t be rigidly held to it. Quite the opposite, you’ll flow back-and-forth between course materials and story sharing to create connections, build context, and take advantage of opportunities for on-the-spot coaching.
  5. Contribute to the Aileron team: You’ll work closely with the Aileron team to share information, insights, and ideas to help the entire organization grow.

Your Team

  • Your team lead: Chuck Huggins is Aileron’s Chief Operating Officer. He leads the Facilitators, nurturing a collaborative and open team environment.
  • Your team: Aileron is in growth mode. You’ll join a team of Business Advisors, Leadership Coaches, and Facilitators, along with a larger community of part-time contributors.

Facilitator Qualifications

Qualifications vary based on each individual Facilitator and opportunity, but may include:

  • Experience facilitating and coaching

Note: Facilitator is a contract role and is not eligible for 401(k) or health benefits.
