What to Expect: How Peer Group for Presidents Works
Peer Groups are facilitated sessions guided by an Aileron Facilitator that meet 10 times per year.
Each session begins with a 3-minute update: time for each member to share personal and professional updates with the group.
Once settled in, the group discusses the most significant topics they’re facing. Those topics are driven by and personalized to meet the needs of the group as members co-create the annual agenda by lifting up the most important challenges they’re facing in their businesses.
In-person Peer Groups continue into lunch as members have informal time to continue discussions and build connections.
What’s Included
Peer Groups are facilitated sessions guided by an Aileron Facilitator that meet 10 times per year. In-person Peer Group meetings last four hours, and virtual Peer Group meetings last two hours.
Each Peer Group session begins with welcoming any new members and a 3-minute update: time for each member to share personal and professional updates with the group.
Once settled in, the group discusses the most significant topics they’re facing in the form of a Special Topic Peer Share (a member sharing their experience and facilitating a discussion around a topic) or Issue Processing (the group coming together to help process a member’s most pressing obstacles). Those topics are driven by and personalized to meet the needs of the group as members co-create the Peer Group’s annual agenda by lifting up the most important challenges they’re facing in their businesses.
In-person Peer Groups continue into lunch as members have informal time to continue discussions and build connections.
What Our Community Says
“During challenging times, it is good to have a group that may have some experiences that can help navigate a future course of action… I always pick up at least one concept or idea (no matter how minor) to think about (or implement) when I return to the office.”
Tim Riazzi, President of Microtek Laboratories
