We want you to have a successful day on campus, and understand technology is a big part of your experience. Here’s what’s in place to ensure your time on campus runs seamlessly.
Wi-Fi: The Aileron-Guest network is available to campus visitors without a password.
Room technology: In each room, you’ll find a guide to using the projector and technology in that room. Here are some general guidelines.
- Windows technology: We have Microsoft Bluetooth Connectors and HDMI cords in each room. If your device does not have an HDMI port, we recommend bringing an adapter.
- Apple technology: We have Apple TVs that allow for screen mirroring in all rooms except the Focus Rooms and the Dream Room. We also have HDMI cords in each room. If your device does not have an HDMI port, we recommend bringing an adapter.
- In-room computer: Each room has a Resident PC you can use, complete with a wireless keyboard, mouse, and slide advancer. You can bring a flash drive to share files on screen.
- Conference phones: Each room has a conference phone designed to capture audio from multiple people in the room.
IT support: Our IT team is on campus throughout the day and available to assist when you arrive if needed.
Hosting hybrid meetings: If you’re meeting on campus and having other team members join remotely, we encourage you to bring an OWL Meeting Camera (or another camera) to project your laptop to the screen for team viewing.
Printing: We recommend making copies in advance of your time on campus, but we do have a guest printer you can access using the guest wi-fi. Please note some computers have admin permissions that prevent them from accessing printer networks.
