Systems mapping – the process of document and making systems visible – empowers you and your team to turn on the power of systems thinking. Systems maps help you see how systems work, how the interact with other systems, and where they can be improved.
In Activate Systems Mapping, you’ll learn the skills you need to activate, lead, and facilitate systems mapping in your organization through two facilitated workshops, on-your-own learning, and time with an Aileron Coach to address and overcome obstacles you encounter on your journey.
Activate Systems Mapping will equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to:
- Create systems maps: You’ll develop your mapping skills so you can continually identify, document, manage, and improve systems in your organization.
- Manage systems maps: You’ll learn to use new technologies and methods to store and maintain systems maps.
- Facilitate systems mapping in your organization: You’ll learn how to communicate why systems mapping works, get organizational buy-in, and lead systems mapping sessions so your organization can install mapping practices.
The Activate Systems Mapping Learning Journey
What Is Systems Mapping?
Systems mapping is the work of making systems visible. A systems map shows the components of a system and their relationship to each other, helping teams not only live out a system, but continuously improve it.
Who is Activate Systems Mapping For?
This service is for teams using systems to improve their organizational performance. It’s a great next step for teams that have taken Explore Systems Thinking, and for those who haven’t, this workshop’s pre-work will get you up to speed.
