Course for Senior Executives

What It Is?

The Course for Senior Executives is designed to enhance your skills and expose you to the same principles of professional management experienced by your CEO in the Course for Presidents.

This course provides a unique opportunity to interact with other senior executives, participating in a frank and open discussion of the role of senior managers and how they impact relationships with the CEO, peers, and subordinates. The two-day program focuses on the six key functions of a professionally managed organization: leadership, strategy, culture, people development, structure, and business controls.

Following the course, you'll be able to help build and support an effective management system that:

  • Supports a leadership philosophy that permeates the organization
  • Sets a positive culture that's embraced by the organization--one that assists in the accomplishment of the vision, mission, and beliefs
  • Develops you and other key people for key positions
  • Creates a dynamic planning process that helps run the current business and drive the future
  • Creates a structure that supports the accomplishments of the corporate vision, mission, and strategy
  • Monitors the progress of the plan, the people, and their accomplishments
  • Builds a common vocabulary and understanding within the organization
What You'll Learn
  • A six-part management framework that's designed to be the foundation and inspiration of your organization's professional management system
  • Clarification of the role and key responsibilities of a senior executive in your organization
  • Leadership and management skills that can be used immediately
  • Reinforcement of what you and your company are doing right
  • Perspective and contacts from other senior managers from other organizations that share similar challenges

"Mary has a marvelous command in the classroom. She doesn't just teach, she compels pupils to openly embrace the change she advocates. Using her wit and wisdom, she weaves her real-life experiences, case studies and best practice applications together in a way that kept us attentive and engaged. We didn't just learn from her, we applied her practical teachings to our everyday business. Our organization is greatly improved because of Mary's skillful leadership!"

-Jeffrey Damron, A Kid Again
