Skills and Capabilities
- Achieves defined curriculum objectives from the Aileron and participant perspective.
- Focuses on outcomes rather than activities.
- Effectively manages the flow of the offering (e.g., timing). Maintains the desired balance between presentation and exercises, breakouts, case studies, etc.
- Tailors the delivery of the offering to effectively integrate participant issues and examples.
- Ensures presentations are interactive and engaging.
- Manages participant interaction to achieve an effective balance between facilitator and participant, as well as between participants.
- Manages participant's participation (i.e., drawing out and shutting down as required).
- Maintains his or her energy level throughout the duration of the program.
- Conveys a depth of practical knowledge on the topic.
- Conveys a natural style. Displays the same behavior in front of the room as in one-on-one situation.
- Has a conversational and practitioner-based approach with an ability to easily field questions and lead discussions.
- Effectively integrates stories, personal experiences and local/real-world examples into conversation.

- Has a consultative-based approach. Displays a "dig deeper" questioning approach, a solid questioning technique to get to the root of an issue without making the participant uncomfortable.
- Has the ability to look through the lenses of others.
- Is never prescriptive.
Beliefs and philosophies
- Fits with Aileron's vision, mission, and philosophy.
- Never strays into sales pitch territory and is comfortable with our "no solicitation" policy.
