Use the Aileron campus

The Aileron campus gives you the opportunity to participate in workshops and sessions, meet peers, access a library of resources and truly focus on the future of your business.

In thinking about how clients will use the Aileron campus and the services offered, we created three options for clients to choose from —the Day Pass, the Adventurer Pass and the Journey Pass. These passes offer you different levels of access to the campus for you and your organization.

Imagine using spaces such as a President's Office, the Information Commons or a booth in the cafe to get away from your day-to-day routine and focus on the future of your organization. Can you envision using the Planning Room or a workshop room for a planning or strategy meeting with your leadership team? Or picture your next board meeting being held in the Les Banwart Board Room at Aileron with full A/V support. In providing these services, we hope to support you as you implement a professional management system into your business.

The Day Pass allows you to use the campus on days that you are participating in a workshop, program or other public event. We encourage you to come early or stay late and use our many public spaces, such as the café, Information Commons, rotunda area, and breakout spaces—both inside and out—to work or meet with colleagues. There is no cost to you to use the Day Pass, other than the cost of your selected service or event.

We invite business owners, presidents, CEO's and excutive directors of private organizations to enjoy daily access to the campus by selecting one of the following passes.

The Adventurer Pass is created for these individuals who want to enjoy daily access to the campus and the ability to rent space for business purposes.

The Journey Pass is designed for organizations who want to enjoy daily access and enjoy these additional benefits:

  • Discounted rates on room rental
  • Advanced booking privileges for all rentable space
  • The ability for owner, president, CEO and direct reports(number based on size of organization) to also have access to the campus and rent space

The annual fee for private for-profit businesses to participate on the Journey Pass is based on an organization's annual sales.

The Aileron campus is designed to be a place where you can get away from the day-to-day challenges of running your business and focus on planning for the future of your business. To ensure the Aileron campus is used as intended and remains enjoyable for you and our other guests, please take a moment to review the following information.

Campus Usage

All activities held at the Aileron campus must support Aileron's mission. The campus may not be used to conduct normal business or to solicit, present, fundraise or sell services—nor is it intended for private parties or religious or political gatherings.

Pass holders should use the campus to work "on" their business, not "in" it.

To help you understand how you can use the Aileron campus, here are some examples of appropriate ways to use the building:

  • Strategic planning meetings
  • Brainstorming sessions
  • Team-building meetings
  • Board meetings
  • Private work time
  • Meeting with business mentors or advisors
  • Annual employee meetings
  • Individual reflection and dreaming
  • Competitive Intelligence Activities (research)
  • Pass holders may host roundtable meetings with other private business owners to share data, knowledge and insights to support growth and innovation (non-solicitation)

In addition, below are a few examples of activities and events that are not permitted at the Aileron campus:

  • Pass holders should not bring customers or potential customers to the campus
  • Board meetings for other organizations other than the primary organization
  • Any meeting or event in which participants are charged a fee to attend
  • Interviews
  • Events marketing to clients
  • Events to build credibility to external people or customers
  • Performance review meetings with direct reports
  • Baby showers
  • Weddings
  • School board meetings
  • Public meetings
  • Fundraisers
  • Political gatherings
  • Holiday parties
  • Sponsored events

General Guidelines

The campus' business hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Pass holders are welcome to stay in the building from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; however, there will be no support staff available during these hours. Clients are required to check out with security when they leave. We are closed on the weekends.

We invite you to relax and wear business casual attire when attending our programs and visiting the Aileron campus. Shorts, flip flops, and muscle shirts are prohibited.

Clients and guests visiting the Aileron campus are asked to respect the confidentiality and privacy of all Aileron clients. Business information shared at the campus is expected to remain confidential unless you are informed otherwise. Also, we strive to maintain a non-solicitation environment, and we appreciate your respect and cooperation in this regard.

Clients and guests visiting the Aileron campus are asked to respect other clients while in the building by limiting the noise levels coming from their meetings or training sessions.

Individuals must be 18 years and older to use the Aileron campus unless prior arrangements have been made with the director of service operations. Children are welcome, however, to attend scheduled Family and Friends events.

We ask that cell phones not be used during workshops or in open spaces such as the Information Commons, the dining room and the rotunda.

Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis; there are no reserved parking spaces.

Vehicles left in the parking lot after 11:00 p.m. cannot be accessed until 7:00 a.m. the following morning.

Also, we strive to maintain a non-solicitation environment, and we appreciate your respect and cooperation in this regard

Overall Safety

Smoking is not allowed in the building; however, designated smoking areas with receptacles are located 40 feet from the building.

Sporting activities such as swimming, hunting, fishing and rock-climbing are prohibited at the Aileron campus.

With the exception of assistance animals, pets are not allowed at the campus.

Concealed weapons are not permitted in the building or on the grounds of the Aileron campus.

Trail Usage

The Aileron campus' 114 acres are available for clients and guests to enjoy. Individuals who would like to explore the trails will be asked to check in with the front desk.
